PLAINFIELD, IL 60544 815-436-5335 Applications are now being accepted to create a list for FULL-TIME FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC POSITIONS In order to test for the position, you must have the following: FFII with Hazardous Material Awareness Paramedic Certification (or currently accepted in Class providing proof of enrollment) at time of test. Must have Paramedic Certification at time of hire. High School Graduate or equivalent A valid Illinois driver’s license U. S. Citizen Be able to read, write and speak the English language. All applicants must be 21 years of age at time of test. All applicants over the age of 35 years must comply with Illinois Statute 70 ILCS 705/16.06. Applications are due no later than Thursday, June 12, 2008 by 4:00 p.m. – Must be delivered in person to Station # 1 Administration. All certifications must be obtained on your own time.
